The Rostropovich-Vishnevskaya Foundation has been working to improve the health and future of children in Armenia since 2005.

The Foundation’s ongoing program in partnership with the Armenian Ministry of Health (MOH) and UNICEF to eliminate measles and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) from the country got an enormous boost in October 2007 with the mass immunization campaign. Approximately 924,000 individuals were vaccinated against measles and rubella over a period of a few weeks.
